Molly and I are enjoying exploring Portland:

The walks around the quarries (both working and disused) and cliffs.

The local rocky cove (or ope), or the less glamorous, but more sheltered swimming beach.

And White Stones Café and pubs.

Also pictured is the garden of the flat I didn’t buy. Here it is on Rightmove (until someone else buys it).

It was the garden I loved, not the flat, with its many needed repairs and the rooms that looked out over a noisy square. Gardens are hard to find in Portland, but space isn’t. You can always walk out into open skies.
