I had a neighbour in Melbourne who had paid to bring her dog from the UK to Australia at great expense. However, shortly after they had moved into their home, a burglar tried to force his way in to steal their computer equipment. Their dog scared him off, which was fortunate, as they hadn’t yet arranged house insurance. A valuable dog.
